Djokovic congratulating Murray.

 

Wonderful shot in The Times today of Djokovic congratulating Murray on retaining the No.1 ranking. Very reminiscent of my favourite photograph from the world of sport: the one of Bobby Moore and Pele at the 1970 World Cup. If only we could respect our adversaries – or, as Jung would say, “embrace our shadows” – in this way. Life would become a game, a “lila”, and we would play it with love, not fear.
