Observations & meditations on the day-to-day
Have the passion, bravery and ignorance to get something done.
“You shouldn’t be cowed. You should have the passion, bravery and ignorance to get something done. Because, if you really thought about making a picture, if you really thought about it step by step, you’d never do it.”
Martin Scorsese, in his MasterClass which I am now taking – in a section entitled “Don’t be intimidated by what you don’t know”.
I love the juxtaposition of “bravery” and “ignorance”. It bears out what I say in my Magic of Manifestation course – that you don’t have to know every step of the road ahead to begin something ambitious. We rarely know all the steps: life is almost always uncertain. If we wait for certainty – as people often do – we may never get anything done. But, if we set off with a clear purpose, and a determination to do whatever it takes, we are more than likely to achieve something of substance.
